Chris is our Head of Web Development. After looking for a new challenge to get his teeth into, Chris was drawn to the fantastic projects he could be part of and is excited to get started on some of his own.

Having started as an apprentice in 2011, he then spent time as an in-house developer for an adventure travel company. Later, Chris moved to a property marketing agency, where he worked for several years before becoming a much-anticipated part of Reach Digital. He brings with him high-level experience in languages such as PHP and JavaScrip as well as great expertise in using the Laravel framework and extensive knowledge of React. These key skills were established through a desire to find the best methods for problem-solving.

In his career so far, Chris is proudest of the bespoke Content Management Systems he has built according to client needs, including complex JSON APIs that serve third-party applications.

Away from the keyboard, he loves to enjoy the great outdoors. Whether bouldering in the mountains, hiking in the hills or just some gentle gardening, he’s always looking to get out and about whenever he can.

Not to be confused with the other Chris.

We’re pleased to welcome Nathan to the Reach team as our new Senior Developer.A self-taught developer with a passion for problem-solving and a drive for continuous learning, Nathan quickly progressed from a junior to a senior role within just five years- building a reputation for writing clean, efficient and creative solutions to technical challenges.Experienced in React, Laravel, WordPress and Three.js, he’s delivered projects ranging from immersive 3D configurators to bespoke CMS platforms and large-scale systems. Nathan’s now looking forward to applying his skills to a broad mix of client work and continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible in digital development.Outside of work, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, experimenting in the kitchen, playing indie games and running with his dog, Molly 🐾We’re thrilled to have him on board as part of the Reach team.
